How Long Does a Cheek Enhancement Last

Depending on the product used during the treatment, a cheek enhancement can last for months to years.

How Long Does It Take to Recover from a Cheek Enhancement?

There is no downtime required for a cheek enhancement.

What Is a Cheek Enhancement?

If you’re looking for a way to achieve a youthful appearance without surgery, non-surgical cheek enhancement may be the right option. This minimally invasive procedure uses fillers to add volume to the cheeks, providing lift and contour. Cheek enhancement can help create a more youthful appearance by restoring lost volume and improving the face’s overall balance.

Are You a Candidate for a Cheek Enhancement?

In general, good candidates are those who are beginning to notice a loss of volume in their cheeks. This can be due to aging, extreme weight loss, or other factors. Non-surgical cheek enhancement can also be used to correct asymmetry or to balance out facial features.

Benefits of a Cheek Enhancement

If you’re looking for a way to boost your confidence while looking younger than ever before, consider exploring non-surgical cheek enhancement. Benefits include:

  • Fuller, more youthful facial features
  • Smoother fine lines and wrinkles
  • No-downtime
  • Less expensive than surgical procedure
  • Easy maintenance

What Are the Risks for a Cheek Enhancement

While non-surgical cheek augmentation is a relatively safe procedure, a few potential side effects should be considered before undergoing treatment. The most common side effect is temporary swelling and bruising, typically lasting for a few hours or days.

There is also a small risk of injection site reactions, such as redness, tenderness, or itching. However, these risks can be minimized by working with a skilled and experienced injector at Skin Technique.

Why Choose Skin Technique for a Cheek Enhancement?

A complete dedication to our patients comes across in everything that we do. We listen to you from the first consultation and make sure that you never feel pressured to choose treatments you don’t want.

Dr. Pavlou has been providing medical aesthetic treatments for over ten years and has performed thousands of injectable treatments. Based on his artistry and experience, we are confident you will achieve your desired results.

How to Prepare for a Cheek Enhancement

One week before your cheek enhancement, you may be asked to avoid blood-thinning over-the-counter medications such as ibuprofen and supplements like St. John’s Wort and ginseng.

Two days before your injections, we ask that you do not use topical products such as Retin-A, Retinol, Retinoids or Glycolic acid. Do not wax the area or use hair removal cream.

The day before your injection, do not drink any alcoholic beverages and arrive at your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face.

What to Expect Post Cheek Enhancement

You will immediately see the effects of your non-surgical cheek enhancement after treatment. The injection site may feel slightly painful, but that will subside within 1-2 hours.
